    Surf Trip Must Haves

As the title says, this is a list of items that you 'Must Have' on your surf trips. Some are pretty obvious but others are items you probably didn't think of but will be glad you have!

    Keypod

This is the best way to keep your car keys and belongings safe. Hide your valuables safe in the car, lock your car keys in the keypod and attach it somewhere under your car. I normally attach mine near the exhaust. Now you can surf happy knowing you won't lose your keys, just remember the code you put in the lock or your buggered!

    Rash Vest (Rashie)

If your lucky your wetsuit won't give you rashes, but if your unlucky like me then you'll need a rash vest (rashie)! A rashie is worn under the wetsuit and stops the suit rubbing your skin and giving you rashes. Try and get one with a high neck as thats a common place for it to rub! The rashies are also deisgned to give you an extra layer of warmth in our cold british seas.

    plastic Box

This may sound like a weird thing to take but it really is a must have! Get back to your car, take off your soaking wet wetsuit and to save your car from getting soaked put it in the plastic box. Then at your campsite/base hang your suit out to dry. Make sure the box has no holes!

    Westuit Socks

They may give you a little less feeling on the board but i wouldn't go surfing in the UK without them. Firstly they keep your feet warm in the surf, secondly they stop your feet getting cut up as you walk across our british gravel carparks and rocks (which will hurt!).

    Skim Board

You pull up to the beach for a full weekend of surfing but the surfs flat, what do ya do? Well, pull out your skim board (wrist breaker) of course! Skim the shallow waters, and when you see the waves pick up swap for you surf/bodyboard.

    Wind-up Torch

Theres nothing worse than getting back to the tent after a few beers and the battery in your torch running out. Instead of struggling to find new batteries just wind the handle on the wind-up torch and in a few turns you have light again. There cheap to buy and are always handy for those last minute surf trips.
